Spring is....well springing :)

Spring is in the air! I can feel it...I can see it...I can almost taste it! This has been a very long, hard winter here in the land of trees and water. I always want us to have a hard enough winter to kill the bugs but this year has been the worst I've ever experienced. We have had major snows more than once and all of the local school districts have used ALL of their snow days. Around here they schedule in quite a few too. Last week was the first week that the school district in our hometown put in a full school week since Christmas.

This was the first time for the Munchkin Man to really see snow and have the opportunity to get out and play in it. He wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do at first...


He complained about his "glubs" being dirty but finally decided that this might turn out to be a lot of fun.


So of course we had to make a snow angel...



Then it was time to go sledding with Daddy and Bubbew. Luckily our front yard is one big slope. So we were just able to get out there and do a little sledding. Luckily for Mommy though it is not a gigantic slope, so I didn't have to worry too much. This west TEXAS girl has never been sledding in her whole life and I sure wanted the Munchkin Man to have the opportunity to do so! He thought the whole experience was a blast.

Mommy says that it is time for winter to be over though. This TEXAS girl needed some sunshine and finally the weather is beginning to cooperate. It is supposed to be 68 degrees today. First time it's been that warm since November. We'll probably see a moment or two or old man winter in the next couple of weeks. We always seem to see him around Easter, but SPRING is definitely SPRINGING! Thanks for checking in on us.
